Library

The CCCM has the most complete, specialized and up to date Library in Portugal on the History, Society, Economy and Culture of China and East Asia in the past and present.

Thousands of volumes in a wide range of languages support research and dissemination in the fields of Sinology, Europe-China International and Intercultural Relations, and of the studies on Macau.

A vast documental repository, in different supports, provides information on China and Macau in the past and present. The Library is part of a network with other similar national and international institutions. The 30-seat reading room is completed with a multimedia area.
